How do I Find Edward Walsh’s Irish Origins?
I have hit a brick wall on my research and just wanted some suggestions on where I should go from here. The furthest back I can get on one branch is that Edward Walsh, born in Ireland, immigrated in 1885 to NYC and his wife Alice McGowan who he married in 1887 immigrated in 1890.
So my question is what should my next step be, since I can’t find anything more on ancestry. Is that enough info to go and look the naturalization record up for Edward Walsh? By 1900 he was Na.
There son was John Joseph Walsh-born in Nov, 1891 in Manhattan NY. If I requested his birth certificate would it give me a more narrow location on his parents birthplace beside Ireland?

How do I find a marriage certificate?
I am trying to find a marriage certificate when William Grancier Embry III & Nancy Duncan were married. The information I have is they were married on December 22, 1785 in NC. I have been told that Nancy was an indian. It was common for an indian woman be given the name of Nancy. Nancy was born about 1760 in Indian Territory, NC. And died unknown, possibly in Butler County, KY.If anyone can help me, I most appreciate it.

Henry Clay Kelley b 1874, d 1931 in Missouri? Brother Samuel Allie Marsh b 1869 d 1951 Texas. I have no idea of the parents of either. Henry Clay on 1880 census as boader, no birth records. Henry is on several census in Pemiscot Missouri or New Madrid Missouri. Henry and his family lived in same area until death.Samuel is first found in Gayso Missouri marriage record. Samuel is on several census later after marriage. I have not found anything on him other than death record. The parents on there are saying William Marsh and Elizabeth McArthur. I have not found any records of them. Help!
